Key Terms in Deckko
Here is a quick glossary to help you feel at home in Deckko right away.
- Board - A project. Each board represents one piece of content (e.g. one video, one course module, one carousel).
- Frame - A single scene or moment within a board. Like one slide in a presentation, or one shot in a film.
- Template - A pre-built sequence of frames based on a proven content structure (e.g. Hero's Journey, Quick Tutorial).
- Label - A color-coded tag you can add to frames to categorize them (e.g. Hook, CTA, B-Roll).
- B-Roll - Supporting footage or images that complement your main content. You can upload and manage B-roll images inside a board.
- AI Sketch Helper - Deckko's built-in AI tool that generates a sketch image for any frame based on your description.
- Voice / Transcript - Notes on a frame for what you plan to say or the script for that scene.
- Camera Movement - A note on a frame describing how the camera should move during that shot.
