Notes vs. Voice / Transcript — what is the difference?
Both fields let you add text to a frame, but they serve different purposes:
- Notes — Use this for production details, reminders, or anything about how the scene should be shot or structured. Examples: Use overhead angle, Show product close-up, Cut to B-roll here.
- Voice / Transcript — Use this for what you plan to say during this scene. This is your script, talking points, or narration. Examples: Hey everyone, today we are going to cover...
Think of Notes as director's notes and Voice / Transcript as your script.
